When Fear Almost Stopped Me: What Christian Women Need to Know About Answering Their Calling
I want to tell you something I have not said publicly before.
There was a moment, not that long ago, where I almost stopped.
Not because the work was not meaningful. Not because I did not believe in what God called me to do. But because the voice that tells you who do you think you are got loud enough that I actually started listening to it.
I started counting the reasons it would not work. The time I did not have. The women who were already doing this. The part of me that wondered if I had healed enough to help someone else heal.
And then God reminded me of something.
He does not call the qualified. He qualifies the called.
What almost stopping taught me
Fear does not always look like paralysis. Sometimes it looks like being extremely busy with everything except the thing you are called to. Sometimes it looks like perfecting your systems instead of showing up. Sometimes it looks like waiting until you feel ready, which is really just waiting for a feeling that was never going to come before the action.
I had to make a decision. Not because the fear was gone. But because the calling was louder.
What I know about the women reading this
You have a version of this story too.
Something God placed in you that fear has been managing. A step you have been circling instead of taking. A version of yourself you can almost see but cannot quite claim.
And you are tired. Not lazy tired. Tired in the way that comes from carrying something you were not meant to carry alone.
That is what I see when I look at the women who find their way to CoachHER Life. Not broken women. Called women who got tired of letting fear make the decisions.
If that is you, I want you to know that starting is not about being ready. It is about being willing.
Your next step is one conversation.
